During these summer months there is an invitation to slow down and enjoy the summer season a little. While SAI is holding less meetings over these summer evenings, the board and the membership committee continue to meet on zoom each month and are keeping the spirit of the association alive. The associations AGM lies ahead in September and there are plans for another gathering in the Autumn which will be confirmed soon. We have had a very successful year on ‘zoom’ , it was challenging at first, but the inspiring conversations hosted by Dr. Geraldine Holton with Dr. Michael Carroll and Dr. Tobin Hart really made it a rich and memorable year for SAI. Thankfully we are emerging from Covid fears to a more stable forecast for the coming months. There is no doubt that effective supervisors are key to offering support in the recovery of caring professionals after such a challenging period. As Ireland’s only association established solely for supervisors we are there to support the work of supervisors.
We have enjoyed some beautiful weather and maybe more to come! Make the most of it!
